About

Thumbnails are not decoration — they're part of the growth system

I'm BOOM3RANG — a YouTube thumbnail designer and thumbnail manager specializing in high-volume entertainment, Roblox, gaming, and kids content.

Over the last 5 years, I've worked with some of the biggest channels in the space, including the LankyBox ecosystem — LankyBox, LankyBox World, and LankyBox Top Videos — and the Doodle and Arkey-related channels: Doodle and Arkey, Arkey, and ArkeyBlox.

My work is not only about making images look good. It's about understanding what makes a viewer stop scrolling, what makes a thumbnail readable at small size, what makes a character's emotion clear, and what makes a concept feel instantly clickable.

I have experience working inside fast-moving YouTube production teams — managing thousands of thumbnails, analyzing CTR and views, testing variations, and creating visual systems that can survive daily upload pressure. At peak, the teams I worked with published around 10 videos per day. That kind of volume teaches you things a portfolio class never will: how to be fast without getting sloppy, how to stay consistent across thousands of assets, and how to treat every thumbnail as a hypothesis you can test.
